If you want to go back to school, you might find that one problem with that idea is money. If you don’t have any, and you don’t want to go into deep debt with loans, you may want to consider scholarships instead. These generally won’t pay for all of your schooling – although some of them do – but they might pay for some of it and help you spend less. That’s especially true if you can also get grants, so be sure to fill out the FAFSA. That’s the form for student financial aid, and it opens up your opportunities for all kinds of help and support from various places. Even if you don’t think you’ll need it, there’s no harm in filling it out. That way it’s done and you can rely on it if you need it.

Another thing you should do is take a look at the scholarship sites that are out there online. You can apply to all of them or just one or two. Some will have more to offer to you, depending on what you’re studying and other criteria. When applying, be sure to check out:

Fastweb.com – Join free to look for scholarship money.

Scholarships.com – search for all kinds of scholarships to get money for college.

College-Scholarships.com – Links to scholarships search sites.

They all do basically the same thing, but they do it in different ways and for different fields of study. They can also have different connections, so you may be able to get a scholarship through one site that you couldn’t get through another site. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it’s part of the reason you want to apply to more than one site. Online learning is a great way to get ahead, and you don’t want to have your career dreams dashed because of a lack of money.
